Come to where the air is fresh and the view endless! A little over an hour from San Francisco, in the heart of Sonoma County's Wine Country, is the quaint town of Healdsburg. The historic Villa Chanticleer is a unique facility available to business, industry, educational and recreational groups as a meeting and event site accommodating large and small groups.

The Villa Chanticleer was built in 1910 as a gathering place for San Francisco's French elite. Up to 200 people would take the horse and buggy ride up the hill to the resort, which consisted of a screened dining pavilion and vacation cabins. It continued as an exclusive vacation resort through the 1940's, when it was rumored to have fallen into the hands of shady underworld figures. In a 17-acre forested setting with breathtaking vistas of the Alexander Valley, the Villa is surrounded by luxuriant wisteria overhanging onto a pebbled stoned veranda with a sheared velvet lawn. Inside, large expanses of windows capture the feeling of spaciousness with spectacular views. The Villa's outdoor area features picnic and barbecue areas, surrounded by majestic redwoods and giant oak trees. A playground is also on the property. Lodging is nearby.
